Bond Remains At $2.5 Million For Brentwood Man Accused Of Murdering Wife

A judge ordered Wednesday that bond for a Brentwood man accused of murdering his wife on Sunday, will remain at $2.5 million.

Randolph C. Maidens, age 42, was arrested Monday morning on charges that he shot and killed his wife, Rachael Elizabeth Frisbie Maidens, age 34, inside their Governor’s Club, Brentwood home.

Rachael Maidens, an orthodontist, is survived by grandfather Neal Frisbie of Lawrenceburg.

Officers with the Brentwood Police Department went to the home around 6:00 p.m. Sunday after an unidentified caller placed a 911 call, requesting a welfare check.

They discovered Rachael Maidens’ body but report that Randolph Maidens was not at the home. Their two-year-old daughter was found inside the home, unharmed. She is currently being cared for by family members.

The community was placed on lockdown as a twelve-hour manhunt ensued. Brentwood police employed the assistance of the department’s K-9 Unit as well as Williams County Sheriff’s Department personnel and SWAT Team, and personnel and helicopters from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The search was ultimately unsuccessful, but officials report that around 6:00 a.m. Monday Maidens, unarmed at that time, walked out of a wooded area and surrendered. He was subsequently incarcerated at the Williamson County Jail, charged with reckless homicide.

Maidens appeared before Williamson County Judge Al Nations on Wednesday. Nations declined to decrease bond, indicating that it will remain $2.5 million.

Maidens’ next court appearance is scheduled for May 2 in Williamson County General Sessions Court. He is due back in court on May 29 on an unrelated DUI charge.
